A shining light was lost the day Sam Losey died. Sam flashed his gapped-tooth grin to all he met. He was a stellar student, a star athlete, a published poet, a budding song writer and an exhibiting artist. Tragically, Sam lost his young life in an accident on June 22. He was ten years old. He left behind a grieving community of family and friends who will never forget his infectious laughter and his gift of living life to its fullest. Sam lives on through the kind donation of his blue eyes with their amber twinkle and his heart that embraced a community. His creative spirit continues to inspire others through his portfolio of poetry, artwork and music and through memorial funds that were established in his name for aspiring young musicians and writers.
